A Time to Act

Updated: Sep 18

Once more, an assassination has been attempted on former President Donald J. Trump. On September 15th, 2024, the former President was enjoying time on his golf course in West Palm Beach when the Secret Service discovered an armed man preparing to fire on the President. They fired on him, and he escaped but was later apprehended The incident is now being investigated by local sheriffs and the FBI.

Just as before, President Trump was not cowed by this threat on his life. In a time when he could be enjoying a pleasant retirement, he is instead boldly facing threats, accusations, and all manner of ill treatment. Yet he is willing to stand in the face of all this, because he believes in a better country. He believes in a country where justice is real and not compromised, where common sense economics improves life on all levels, and where wise foreign policy enables stability here at home and deters those abroad who would threaten it.

However, President Trump is just one man. He cannot restore safety, wealth, and strength to this nation on his own. It requires brave citizens around the country who are willing to step up in whatever way they can, be it small or great. If we want to live in a great nation, we need to be willing to invest our time and resources into it, not just for us, but for our children and future generations.

One straightforward way to do this is by supporting your local candidates and Central Committee by voting, volunteering, and donating. These brave men and women are putting themselves on the line and speaking out boldly for those values that will improve our local communities, and piece by piece, our country. These local politicians, when working towards the common goal of getting our country back on track, can make a great impact because local candidates affect so many levels of our daily lives.

This nation is a gift we have been given and we have a choice in what we will do with that gift. Will we surrender it to destruction without a fight? Or will we take a risk, step up, and work together to bring our country through this dark valley into a brighter day? It is better to live courageously now, even if there is a cost, than to do nothing and live in regret. The price for doing nothing is one we cannot afford to pay.
