Peace officers support Norris for District 1 supervisor

The Northern Alliance of Law Enforcement, which represents 35,000 regional peace officers and their organizations including the California Correctional Peace Officers Association, has endorsed local business owner and public servant Harry Norris for El Dorado County supervisor, District 1.
In April Norris was officially endorsed by the El Dorado County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association.
Norris enjoys growing and widespread support from around the region. He is also endorsed by El Dorado Hills Community Services District Directors Tony Rogozinski and Larry Brilliant; El Dorado Irrigation District Directors John Fraser, Bill George, George Osborne and George Wheeldon; library advocate Betty January; community leader Buzz Nunn; the El Dorado County Republican Party; and the Metro Chamber PAC, which represents more than 2,500 member businesses employing nearly 190,000 employees in El Dorado County and across the Sacramento region.
Local resident and business owner Harry Norris is a candidate for El Dorado County supervisor, District 1. Founder/owner of El Dorado Hills 76, Norris is an elected board member of the El Dorado Irrigation District, for which he has helped lead reforms that have saved rate payers millions of dollars. He served on the El Dorado County Board of Education from 1993 to 2003, receiving the “Spirit of Boardsmanship” award from the El Dorado County School Boards Association. Accolades from local chamber organizations include “Citizen of the Year” and “Small Business of the Year.”
Serving in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1970, Norris was awarded two Bronze Stars for service in combat. A widower, he was married to Jan for 38 years. Their son, Brian, and his family live in Lakewood, Calif. For more information visit www.electnorris.com.
